What is your country's educational system?

(year of school/ time for school/ how the teachers teach)

If you could change one thing, what would you like to change?

Answer from Class D

The government offer free and mandatory educational services for children in age of 6 to 15.

When children are five, they go to kindergarten.

At the age of 6 years, students enter Elementary school for grades 1 through 6.

The Greek educational system is mainly divided into three levels, primary, secondary and tertiary, with an additional post-secondary level providing vocational training.

Primary education is divided into kindergarten lasting one or two years, and primary school spanning six years (ages 6 to 12).

Secondary education comprises two stages: Gymnasio (variously translated as Middle or Junior High School), a compulsory three-year school, after which students can attend Lykeion (an academically-oriented High School) or Vocational training

If we could change one thing, we would like to change the Bully problems. We think that bully is very bad, and the kids are poor to be bullied. We hope that every student can learn happily.

Answer from Class E

In the England, children from five to sixteen should recive compulsory education. The education system is divided into early years(ages 3~4),

primary education(ages 4~11) secondary education (ages 11~18) and tertiary education (ages 18+)

The teacher teach them in small class education, and the time for school is from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Primany school ...... 6 years (grades 1~6)

Junior high school ...... 5 years (grades 7~11)

matriculation ...... 2 years

If we could change one thing, we could like to change the time for school. Because we think the time for learning is too long, children need to learn and play happily.
